During the last 25 years Herman Vandenbranden has built a career as Director Personnel & Organisation in a number of Belgian based international companies.
In this role he has gained a solid business experience in the fields of manufacturing, sales, engineering and business development as well as in the services industry.
His professional experience is combining different cultures and languages in a variety of business environments. Herman has worked in the local production plants, in the international headquarters as well as in an international directors team. Herman has been member of the management Committee for over 20 years and he has been assigned the lead for major transition programs. In the position of Director P&O he has always tried to inspire the leadership of the companies where he has had the HR responsibility in order to combine business objectives with the personal development and company satisfaction of their collaborators. Since 2008 Herman has been leading a business consulting activity close to Brussels advising and coaching a broad variety of organisations as well as their leaders in strategic management and transition programs. He is working for small, medium and large enterprises as well as for public organisations and industry associations.
In his view Herman is convinced that human talent – whatever the size of activity of the organisation might be – constitutes a cornerstone of the success of the company, matching the people ‘s talent with the objectives of the organisation. Therefore he has a particular interest in developing both the leadership and the human talent in the organisations he is working with, based on a set of inspiring communication techniques and a organisation development tool.
