Claudia Kucera began her professional career as a researcher at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Vienna, where she spent many years working both in fundamental research and as a lecturer. She then worked in a clinical setting (Acute Psychiatry in a hospital) and with long-term unemployed addicts before taking up a role as trainer and consultant in the profit and non-profit sectors in 2003.

She maintains strong links with higher education through her long-standing work as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna and her lectureships in Group Dynamics at the Universities of Vienna and St. Gallen. She focuses in her consulting and training work on the following areas: team and executive development, training (communication, impact and presentation techniques, conflict and change management), moderation of small and large groups (team retreats, transition workshops, open
space and similar large-group formats), support and coaching for teams and individuals.
