In 2004, Bernhard Nitz founded a start-up directly out of the university context with two fellow students. The company delivered database-based websites consulting in the field of web technology and strategy for SMEs. This was followed by a project manager position in a marketing consulting firm in Germany. He delivered digital marketing and communication projects in the German healthcare sector. The common denominators of the implemented small and large projects were always determined by high complexity, rapid technical change, innovative solutions and people leadership as well as activation of people.
He has now been working in the field of IT consulting in Switzerland for over 10 years. In this time he incorporated his early experiences into his consulting and coaching activities. In the past years, Bernhard Nitz has filled various roles in IT consulting, for example business analyst, project manager, functional lead, UX lead, product owner, consultant for agile team development, agile-marketing and ecommerce-operations as well as SAFe program consultant.
He has always been concerned with the question of how to generate value quickly, innovatively, sustainably and scalable. Over the years, his perspective has increasingly broadened – from individual technology-oriented projects to transformations where pace is not defined by technology but people. Bernhard Nitz has gained experience in a wide range of industries and company sizes – from German BioTech eCommerce startups to Swiss SMEs and international Fortune 500 corporations.
Through his analytical thinking skills paired with creativity, his great curiosity for people and organizations as well as his talent for facilitation, Bernhard Nitz takes his clients almost playfully into a more agile, digital future.
The focal points of his work are: Consulting and coaching in the field of marketing and business agility, strategy development and digital transformations.
